March 26th, the Caney Fork & Western Railroad was dropped off 125 cars bound for Sparta, TN for storage. CFWR decided to use 54 year old 3002 (Ex WP) and 73 year old 106 (Ex NC&StL) to haul one of the longest trains across the 61 mile railroad
Rick Doughty (62) I have been photographing trains since 1975. My favorite railroad is the Denver & Rio Grande Western. My photos have been featured in CTC Board, Railfan & Railroad, Railroads Illustrated, many railroad book and motive power annuals. I also enjoy severe weather photography and storm chasing. I play drums for my local church. I live in southern Idaho with my wonderful wife Stacey, who enjoys going with me on train watching adventures.

Raised in the Crawford, Lawrence County area. I quickly got fond of railroading as a small kid. The start of my railroad interest was in the late 2000s, and my grandpa would often take me trackside to watch trains pass, This started all my interest in railroading.
