PRR 9081 on the Xenia to Springfield local seen at Center St in Springfield, Ohio on the former Pennsylvania Railroad Panhandle/Little Miami Springfield Branch, facing south. This line was closed as a through route in 1969 and was completely closed and torn up between Springfield & Yellow Springs, Ohio in 1981, by Conrail and the State of Ohio to make way for the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail

NS 3636 leads NS 179-24 by West End- Springfield, OH under the moonlight and the New York Central Big Four Type G Tri Light signal dating back to 1925. West End was a Interlocking between the Columbus to Cincinnati Mainline and the P&E Division mainline between Springfield & Indianapolis. Today the P&E no longer remains and this signal is all there is to show today.

Here you see the last remaining Big Four G style Tri Light signal left standing on a modern day class 1 railroad. This line was formerly the Big Four Route later New York Central Ohio Division Mainline between Cleveland & Cincinnati.
