On a calm night on the Gulf, Mobile, & Ohio, GM&O 4382 slowly departs the station, while GM&O 1051 sits on the side with 2 shop workers, and a man by the name of George Googe Jr. According to historian Travis Gordon, soon after posing with the brand new RS1, George would give the shop workers a stern talking to, as this is the man who lead the charge from steam to diesel on the GM&O and was upset that his brand new machine had to be saved by a worn out mikado. In reality, this is Southern 4501 and Hartford & Slocomb 913, both dressed as GM&O locomotives to honor the 75th anniversary of the GM&O's dieselization. The man on the far right is the grandson of George Googe Jr, Charles Googe. He put in lots of effort in making this event possible, and so did all the TVRM employees involved.

With its day complete, GM&O 4832 sits idle at the East Chattanooga depot waiting its turn to use the turntable before being shut down for the night.

Making its last trip of the day, GM&O 4832 departs Grand Junction with the final "Evening Ridge Runner" for the 2024 season at TVRM.

With only a couple trips left for the day, GM&O 4832 exits the west end of the Missionary Ridge Tunnel with the 5PM "Evening Ridge Runner". This was supposed to be a double header with SOU 630, but 630 had to be withdrawn from service due to maintenance.

Working back to Grand Junction, SOU 4501 (disguised as GM&O 4832 for the weekend) crosses South Chickamauga Creek with the 11AM "Missionary Ridge Local"

This unit goes as far as being a former L&N built in 1970 and later becoming CSX 1101. This unit was recently dropped in Mounds on the CN and I got lucky and spotted it in Cairo

Here's a former NS SD38 still wearing original NS paint. This unit is now owned by a GMTX and was a former Conrail before NS. This locomotive is over 50 years old being built in 1970
